Transline Resource Training

Transline Resource Training is a division dedicated to providing training for both Transline Resource and client staff. It is a fine example of how the group identified an outsourcing opportunity and turned it into a valuable part of the business and a cost-effective solution for clients.

It began during the economic turmoil of 2009 when employers were looking to cut costs by outsourcing in house services.  With the driver CPC deadline approaching it initially focussed on the driving division but it soon began providing vocational, language, manual handling and health and safety courses for industrial staff.

It quickly established itself as an integral part of the business and began working alongside the company’s compliance department to re-assess worker skills, identify areas of weakness and re-train candidates accordingly. With a sophisticated portfolio of services in place it began advising clients on training courses that would develop candidates and increase their productivity.

The division has been a phenomenal success and many clients are now turning to Transline Resource Training for most if not all of their training needs. The division’s headquarters and training school are located at Trafford Park but the service is highly mobile. Driving and Industrial trainers can be deployed at any site in the 50-site Transline Resource network for any period of time ranging from a single day to months on end.

By taking control of this key element of worker development, Transline Resource is confident that it can continually improve the efficiency of the contracts it works on.
